Travel is so amazing. What a gift to experience all the differences in the world. The joy is in the differences and not the similarities. We know what we already have and how it sounds, feels, tastes, looks, and smells. Creative start in Jaipur, I was walking down the street looking for some fresh fruit and a young man stops to ask if I need help. We started to talk and he lead me to his friend. His friend motioned to get on the back of the motorcycle and he offered to take me directly. Ok, sort of like jumping off the rock.... I hadn't sat on the back of a motorcycle for over ten years, but it all came back. Through the insanity of the streets we went. What started out as a search for bananas has lead to trips to the top of the local mountain, a walk in the local park/polo fields, chai at the rooftop disco, more chai watching local native dancing, a preview trip to Gurudev's Ashram and ... Learning about Jaipur as an internationally recognized jewelry/gem city, India's work strategy, and life in general. Too cool. Last week animal reserve and this week city center.
An electronic diary sharing my spiritual path through observations/experiences, photos, videos, articles and more. It started with intensity at the end of January 2011 when I decided to go to South Africa and see the truth of animals living in the wild. Unsatisfied with the answers, I went to India looking for the truth of humans in an ancient civilization. Packing up my life as a dressage trainer in Southern California, I moved to Jaipur, India to follow a spiritual inquiry.
