Ma's Garden by Bhavani Judith Tucker

If you are in Sonoma County, try to create an opportunity to hear Bhavani sing her latest, beautiful, cosmic download, (a song.)  A rich experience of hearing and being the vibration of sound through voice, piano, and poetry.

Ma’s Garden                                  Words and Music by Bhavani Judith Tucker

We don’t know how
We don’t know why
We don’t know when

Can it be here?
Can it be now?
Could it be then?

We will live in Ma’s Garden, fertile and green
Every seed she has planted blooms and is Seen
She will bathe us in her fountain of sun and rain
She will see us with the clear sight of Love once again

The Gardener’s hands…
The Gardener’s heart…
The Gardener’s soul…

Arms that are strong…
Hands that reach out…
Heart that is whole.

We work in Ma’s Garden, fertile and green
Each seed we are planting yearns to be Seen
She will bathe us in her fountain of sun and rain
She will see us with the clear sight of Love once again

Sometimes we stay
Then walk away…
When destiny calls

Open your hands…
Loosen your grasp…
Let yourself fall

Work in Ma’s Garden, fertile and green
Each seed you are planting will grow to be Seen
She will bathe you in her fountain of sun and rain
She will see you with the clear sight of Love once again

Let yourself fall, let yourself fall, let yourself fall….
Let yourself fall, let yourself fall, let yourself fall….in Love
In Ma’s Garden

New Vocabulary Words For Me To Consider Post Reading

magnetic pull = Living a life of feeling like my shoelace is caught in an escalator

sheath (more utilitarian as a point of separation rather than a feeling of hiding something)  = veil

electrical construction of positive and negative atoms that constitute form--human version = lint screen

liberation (a point of freedom at some point on the path) = enlightenment

Candles in the Krishna Temple-Vrindavan

Monday night fly to New Delhi via Germany.  Delhi Wednesday morning.  Bus to Jaipur.  Digesting the adjustment and my strategy to not to accumulate lint.  The "magnetic pull" is massive.  Now that the return path is in motion, I had a moment to sit with just that inner sense.  An hour of streaming tears was the unrestricted response--such a deeper vibration of love and peace.

Capacity Test

Two of my deepest points of learning:  animals and friends

The Universe's Testing Rods were set on sensitive issues (animals and friendship) and depth.  How remarkable to experience this in the presence of another human being who is working on her own lint screen, capacity building, staying in presence, truth, and love.  No lint was created from either of us, presence/truth/love were active, and we came out of the fire with an even deeper connection as friends on the path. Thank you Universe for showing me the beauty of community building in this next step.

One human, two humans, and more...

The Human Experience

Remarkable to consider what engineering marvels and scientific discoveries we as humans have made, but to get along and have love/compassion for one another is still challenging.

Limited Perception

What is the truth?

Living in the depths of some final reading:  exploration of the true nature of man, metaphysical nature of what we perceive as reality, and the continued unveiling of what appears to separate man from the Divine.  Head is spinning a bit, but it is like spotting while physically spinning--a moment of something familiar is just enough time to take a breath and continue spinning.  I see that this too become a capacity and another facet of "letting go."

Final countdown--I hope to be heading to India by Tuesday or Wednesday. Patience to see what the Universe has in mind...

Humility and Gratitude

A very special photo sent to me that unfortunately I don't know the creator.

Thank you Mataji, Bhavani, and Narayana Baba for the continued guidance and homework on this long and winding path of spiritual evolution.  The vastness, subtlety, depth, mystery, uniqueness, and more are to be examined with such humility and gratitude for the tools in awakening consciousness. It often feels like I am holding onto a thick rope that is tied to a large hot air balloon, the hot air balloon is moving and ascending into the sky, and I am running along the Earth surface trying to keep up with something that is going to take off in a way that I will need to be reinvented.  The escalator with my shoelace caught in it is expanding into a new dimension.  The invisible pull is towards something unknown, but there is a deep knowing of the unknown. Absolute Truth and Love continue to be the field and the markers.

Bobbing In The Ocean

I have been here before, but this time, everything is different:  land is not in sight, the bottom is undetectable, there are no markers, I am alone, I have an awareness of the unknown, the water is comfortable, the waves are rhythmical/soothing, no urgency, no sense of direction, there is light, and what is needed appears.  Exploring the new capacity for being.  Embracing the unknown.  Keep breathing. Go deeper into trust, acceptance, and presence. "Let Go!" Let go in a way that I don't even know.

Gurudev is taking a two week retreat, so I decided to stay Stateside a little longer.  The extra time has allowed me to dive into some homework that is proving to be intense. My hard wiring is always pushing me to prepare for the return to the teacher, Master, or Guru. Homework that is suggested or appears to be part of the path.  The wisdom and insight raining down has been stunning.  Jai Ma

In this photo taken on Monday, April 9, 2012, Taiwanese photographer Tou Chih-kang identifies dogs on a manifest that are to be killed later that day at a government-run shelter in Taoyuan, northern Taiwan. In an ongoing project, photographer Tou makes portraits of shelter dogs in the final moments before they are put down by lethal injection. Tou has been visiting dog shelters for two years now, making human-like portraits that give a sense of dignity and esteem to some 400 canines, in hopes of educating the public on the proper care of pets. This year Taiwanese authorities will kill an estimated 80,000 stray dogs at 38 pounds scattered throughout the island. (AP Photo/Wally Santana)

3.  Humans:
Dear friends,

After being kidnapped, raped and tortured by Afghan police, 18-year-old Lal Bibi is fighting police impunity and the cultural requirement that she commit suicide. Prosecutors are failing to try her rapists, but a massive global outcry can persuade the donor countries that are about to hand over billions to Afghanistan to use their leverage to force real change for Lal Bibi and all Afghan women. Sign the petition, and tell everyone:

18 year-old Lal Bibi was kidnapped, raped, tortured and chained to a wall for five days by a gang of powerful Afghan police officers. But she stood up to do what women in Afghanistan are told not to -- she is fighting back, and together we can help her and all Afghan women win justice.

According to deep cultural mandates, as a raped woman, Lal Bibi has been "dishonoured" and will kill herself -- and she publicly says she must, unless her rapists are brought to justice to restore her honour and dignity. Afghanistan's justice system routinely fails to pursue these cases and so far the chief suspects in Lal Bibi's case have not been prosecuted, likely in the hopes that international attention will die down. Every day that passes without an arrest pushes Lal Bibi closer to suicide -- but there is hope.

This weekend, the US, UK, Japan and other major donors are expected to pledge 4 billion dollars to Afghanistan -- money that will pay for the very police forces responsible for Lal Bibi’s rape. But an international outcry can shame donor countries into action, conditioning their aid on real action to fight rape and protect women. We don't have much time left -- click below for change that could save Lal Bibi’s lifeand our petition will be delivered right into the donor conference in Tokyo:

http://www.avaaz.org/en/justice_for_lal_bibi_c/?bfjLadb&v=15757

Local custom in some parts of Afghanistan dictates that women are shamed by rape and must kill themselves to restore their family's honour for generations to come. Amazingly, Lal Bibi and her family courageously are seeking to save her life by insisting on the prosecution of her torturers and shifting the blame to the perpetrators, in society's eyes.

The Afghan police force responsible for the rape depends heavily on foreign funding that will be pledged this weekend, when all of Afghanistan’s major donors gather in Tokyo. Donor countries can and should require that funds are not spent to grow a police force that acts with appalling impunity and that police officers work to protect women, not attack them!

There are hundreds of women and girls all across Afghanistan who are subject to the “tribal justice” meted out to Lal Bibi. Thousands more are watching carefully to see how the Afghan government and the world will respond to the girl who is fighting back and refuses to die quietly. Let's stand with her -- sign the petition below and tell everyone:

http://www.avaaz.org/en/justice_for_lal_bibi_c/?bfjLadb&v=15757

The global war on women is relentless. But time and time again our community joins together to win. We helped stop the illegal stoning of Sakineh Ashtiani in Iran, and fought for justice for rape survivors in Libya, Morocco and Honduras. Let’s show the global power of our community to help win justice for Lal Bibi and millions of women in Afghanistan.

With hope and determination,

Dalia, Emma, Alaphia, Ricken, Laura, Antonia and the rest of the Avaaz team

Those Sandals

While touching Gurudev's sandals, I couldn't help but marvel at the refined nature of the energy field.  It has a very distinct nature, so "clean,' so lint free, so "empty." How to sense such expansiveness that there is nothing? So much Absolute Love that there is no condition?  Igniting an inner awareness that has no edges?

All within a few moments there is a visitation to a place that only is being.  The experience is insatiable and lingering as a call not to be denied.  Jai Guru! Jai Gurudev!

(Thank you NB for sharing!)

Rereading A Favorite Book

"Great Swan Meetings with Ramakrishna"  is one of my favorite spiritual books.
