Selfishness

#5 Selfishness--the desire to find my own path and not just follow others.

There is a liberation from voting myself off the authentic spiritual path.  No need to conform.

Ran across one of my horse buddies who had blood on his hooves from interfering.  Now, he has bloody knees from falling on the pavement and swollen legs from the trauma of falling.  He was lame while moving from rest to action.

I am coming to the conclusion that this past two years has been more about developing mountains of gratitude for what I have had in terms of abundance, beauty, and heath in my life.  And to open my eyes and efforts to more of the details around me that might need some TLC (tender loving care.) It was just camouflaged as the spiritual path.
