Double Decker Bus Size

Eight years walking by and admiring these creatures. What a great surprise to pet one today. The sensitivity and intelligence is humbling. The experience continues to motivate me to keep going on the spiritual path and to be a messenger for animals.

Question Crowding

I love asking Gurudev questions and to hear the clarity and vibrational response, but I see that it is also a distraction of sorts. A day in the ashram without a question crowding its way to the frontier is lovely for the inward stillness practice. The texture is not worthy of words.

Man mistakes when he begins to cultivate the heart by wanting to sow the seed himself, instead of leaving the sowing to God.

Diversity For The Six Senses

Daily walk is in the details. 8 years of walking and it never gets boring. Navigating traffic, pollution, honking, and more is becoming less stressful. Test of inner peace. The contrast between the inside and the outside of the ashram is becoming smaller.

Walking Is So Delightful

For the ones who live here, it is normal. For a visitor, it is a container of surprises and gems in abundance! My fitness for walking is not as low as I expected. Riding 9-12 horses a day has helped me stay fit more than I realized.

First Day Of Sitting Again

India is always a bit of a bump in the transition from Western culture, but it is Very Alive. Sitting in the ashram feels like an immersion in an ocean--a gentle container with no edges, joy, homework, and support. Spiritual heart and crown of my head always appear to be target zones. Thank you Gurudev for allowing me to be a visitor to your house.

The Year Is Punctuated by India and Hungary

Thank you Joel for the photo to add to the Selfseeds Blog
Returning to India once a year gives me a great pause to reflect on the path, the grace, the gratitude, and the richness of my life. Horses are still a steady thread. Just spent a week in Hungary teaching and riding. Daily life continues to be enriched by the moment-by-moment practice of awareness. 2011 was a massive crack to step into this sensed, but unseen path. 2019, the path is now the unspoken tapestry from which everything else arises. I still understand very little, but in awe of the shift with a steady concerted discipline of awareness.

The new Selfseeds website is up and running.  www.selfseeds.com

The horses are in Arizona while I travel for a month. A new destination when I return.

India in less than 24 hours.
