It was like saying goodbye to a very dear, sacred friend--the ancient Oak Tree in the backyard. The house is empty and silent now, waiting for the new people to move in. After finishing cleaning, I wandered out to the back yard to thank the trees, the wind, and the other growth that inhabits the beautiful backyard. Mesmerized by the presence of this ancient friend. Reflecting on its teaching of patience, stillness, and inner peace. How many years has it silently grown providing shelter and shade?
An electronic diary sharing my spiritual path through observations/experiences, photos, videos, articles and more. It started with intensity at the end of January 2011 when I decided to go to South Africa and see the truth of animals living in the wild. Unsatisfied with the answers, I went to India looking for the truth of humans in an ancient civilization. Packing up my life as a dressage trainer in Southern California, I moved to Jaipur, India to follow a spiritual inquiry.

Torrential Reminder
Torrential rain? Sitting and listening to the group questions and vibration of the speaker's tone was a lovely submersion reminder of ashram energetics. The Divine car wash in action. I wasn't expecting anything, but reading about the speaker really attracted me to attend. My goodness it was refreshing. Thank you for the reminder.
The baby horses are excellent students. Ready for their next lesson.

Handling the Baby Horses
Taking action from the place of sensing, timing and presence are the tools I need for handling the young "raw" horses. They don't know much about 2-leggeds and they aren't sure they want to. Amazing to watch them soften and connect in just a few minutes when the fear is gone and they know you are present. Powerful reminder to walk with these intentions with or without the horses.

Growth Unrelenting
A wonderful quote by Dorothy Hunt
This that we are is a mystery.
Everything is both an invitation to and an expression of that mystery.
There's nothing that isn't That.
It's all That. This is That.
The joy of continuing to watch myself want to spiral around in disturbances. There are definitely tender areas, but I was really struck by the quote and the humor of the Universe. It leads you along on the bread crumb trail and then tests if you are attached to the bread crumbs.
Not one cell will be left unexamined and how else to keep examining, but to have new scenarios of the old patterns.
Love and gratitude for the thoroughness. "Let Go!"

Sounds of Silence
There is a texture to silence--resonance. While ranch sitting with only me and the animals, I have gotten to live in a lot of silence. I like it and I don't feel alone. The texture has gained depth and awareness from the time at the ashram. Each container has its' lesson plan.
While looking at the photos from India, I found these two of simple beauty that touched my heart very deeply. It has been nice to meditate outdoors on the stamped-concrete balcony as an environmental touchstone to the surface from where these pictures were taken. Pranam to Gurudev
A moment of inspiration from a friend--thank you!
