Universal Truth, Love, and Teachings

The work, the teachings, the truth, the love are universal. How to operate out of internal peace while interacting with 2 legged beings and the Earth's drama? The process will be the same no matter what! The new control valve is Absolute Love and noticing when that starts to be disturbed. Is my ego messing with something that it doesn't need to or is an action needed? If the action is "needed" than I would act in alignment with the Absolute Truth and there would be no disturbance internally while acting. The key to conscious action is not to fall out of Absolute Love.

The depth of Absolute Love is limitless. The feeling is unlike any other and when I speak about it with others, we all tend to tear up and become emotional at touching the Divine Essence. Everything else experienced becomes secondary. The sense of internal fulfillment is indescribable--nothing bought, owned, tasted, touched, heard, seen can compare even though there are moments that are glimmers.

It was such a privilege to talk about this with Gurudev and a small group who have known Gurudev for over 10 years--one person even met Pahari Baba. Consciousness, Divine Love, Absolute Truth, the Guru's work, and more all sound normal to them. At least I can talk about it with "the group in the know" and not sound crazy. They even asked if I was writing it all down.

Gurudev was explaining that the Guru is like a clothes washer, ceramicist, painter, blacksmith, and more cleaning stains, shaping clay, painting, and bending iron to help us on our paths, but without breaking the fabric. Sometimes scrubbing hard, other times wringing out the fabric, banging on the metal, gently shaping the vessel as needed while we are moving through life.

The grace and privilege of meeting "your Guru" is unequivocally the most profound and life changing moment that one can experience. The context from which one operates will never be the same. The true Guru never asks for anything. All is offered out of the purest most Absolute Love that a humble human being can even remotely begin to understand.

Should I be surprised that this showed up in the Bowl of Saki after I wrote this blog. Divine Synchronicity!!!! Thank you for the affirmation as I try to consciously share my lessons through the limitations of words.

Kindness

Walking naked. What happens when I stay with the Oneness that I have learned from the ashram? There is no male, female, young, old, dark, light--only a sense of excited peace. Gurudev did say that managing the ego would take work, so the idea that when one gets to India a magic wand is waved and all is bliss doesn't appear to apply--in at least my case. As I locked the outer door to start my incinerator/insanity walk, the consciousness for not separating needed to start working. A few hundred feet down the road was the first test. I told myself to stay naked and see what happens. Not pleasant, but I am still alive and not physically assaulted. I bounce back into the the excited bliss state, since that appears to be the baseline right now. I could even just lie down on the street and enjoy that zone completely too. Options--how cool!

Over and over the opportunities to not stay naked appear. It is interesting to observe my thoughts arise and then watch what category they want to fall into. While working with animals, I have prescribed to the method of giving the animal a choice before making a correction. Patience to hold the space, not have judgement, sit with an open heart, and see what decision is made and then allow or make a correction--over and over. Until the horse makes its' own clear decisions that fits with the scenario, he/she isn't truly trained. I can manipulate a horse to control it, but to me that isn't training of the highest level. (The training of a seeing-eye dog is a perfect example of consciousness training for animals.) Making a clear decision in a space of freedom is training. Does the passing man glance at you and then advert his eyes or does he mentally aaault you by staring and searching up and down your body as if you aren't even noticing? Does the child running towards you saying hello or even run past you--or does he/she start begging, chasing you, and not responding to the reply of no? (We have beggars at home too, but they don't run after you, because they would probably get in trouble for harassment.) When the auto rickshaw starts slowing down, is the driver going to park or pick up a different passenger--or start to insist that you need a taxi ride?

In my attempt to stay naked, I stayed with still alertness, no preconceiveds idea, or attachment to what was unfolding. It required going past the place where I would normally begin to react, create a veil, or pick up a weapon. There were times that I could blend back into the oneness and other times that I acted in some manner. When I went to act, I had to examine whether it was within my capacity. The game rules were changing. The point of separation was lengthening. I was told that it was okay to act, but my personal willingness to act was creating lint again. While I am in the incinerator, the teaching is how not to accumulate lint, play the game on the Earth, and keep my heart open.

Pretty awesome to return to peace at the switch of a thought form. The thought isn't to find bliss. The thought is to not switch out of peace where the space is filled with Absolute Love.

Next Veil

Trying to practice asking Gurudev for confirmation of an idea/solution rather than just asking him the question, since I will not be at his feet soon--unless I am completely stuck which was the case with the 'woman veil." The minute I sit down to meditate, I feel the Oneness. The minute I step outside my door, I feel the separation. Same body, nothing has changed--only my thoughts. This is going to take a capacity that is way beyond me. It is feeling like another trip to the surrender pile is needed. I might need a bigger wheelbarrow than usual for this trip. While sitting with Oneness, I feel the expansiveness, limitlessness, and absence of restriction. The challenge will be to stay in that gear until? Or period is more like it.

I made it down the street and there were many opportunities to revert to the "out the door" zone. Back to the hyper vigilance of cutting more ego tentacles. I even found a spiritual veil today; sitting with the absence of Gurudev vs. the presence of Gurudev. His presence is so powerful that I see it creates a bit of laziness. Of course, it is amazing to get lost in that energy field and experience the depth of True Love in a way unlike any other.

Is It Possible?

Gurudev was telling me how people often end up back in nature after being a householder, because of the purity of animals/nature. Wait a minute, that is where I started and I didn't sign up for the human insanity plan. In principle, I have spent 25 years trying to find out if it was possible to be with humans. He mentioned in his story that people can be with a lion or tiger when they stay clear in their hearts. Yes, I felt no fear while I was in South Africa with roaming wild animals. Respect yes, but not fear. I was even wondering about that specifically, "Shouldn't I be afraid?" The peace I feel with animals/nature is the peace I have been trying to find while in the proximity of human forms. IS IT POSSIBLE????? And as a woman????? My animal friends thought that I was crazy when I said, "I want to know if it possible to sit with humans in the same tranquility as with animals."--parting words as I left for the other side of the world seeking the answer. There was always a scratchiness with humans.

The Oracle thinks it is possible. He told me about two different spiritual women who lived in complete oneness/nakedness with life. I am not sure how that would work in downtown LA, but that is to be determined at a later date. There might need to be an attendant who throws a cloth over the Being in appropriate situations. I don't need to get too far into the story yet. Just digesting the possibility is enough for right now. I can find it through the spiritual door and I know that all is one, but this skin suit keeps distracting me. Do I get to use the three types of humans rule, so I can be one with discernment?

Being A Woman Is Yet Another Veil

The insanity of the planet is built on separation. Every difference is fuel for separation. I understand and accept this, but what about just being a woman? Where did the separation originate that creates violence, disrespect, abuse, domination, and more against woman? I understand religion, skin color, belief systems, etc., but one's sex? And I am not even looking at sexual orientation--just the being of a man or a woman. When I sit in the Oneness of the Divine--it is seamless and not eve a hint of separation.

Is being a woman yet another veil or social/mental construction? The Oracle says yes--it is a samskara, so there are liabilities that come with it. Can I be in the form and throw caution to the wind regarding the list that goes with protecting the vulnerability of a woman? No. There are three types of people was the qualification: pure, compounds/mixtures, and "bad." "Stay away from the bad." I can see how this would be a universal truth too.

The Teachings In The Dreams

24/7 the teachings continue. Receiving amazing lessons in my sleep time. No distractions, no separation in the work, and sense of presence. It feels like a continuous flow washing through me as spirit--the truth of who I am.

Understanding Veils

Veils can be light weight, medium weight, heavy weight and so on. Until one is removed it is difficult to determine the personal effect of the veil's weight. The person who lives on the other side of the wall from me has been away for a few days. The veil of violence and abuse has been removed from this small corner of existence. I don't have to sense or be on alert about what he is doing, so I can avoid any unnecessary interactions. I had almost forgot about that veil, since it has become a coping mechanism that I just need to deal with. It triggered my thinking about other veils and lists.

What I will miss:

Gurudev and his wisdom, love, and teachings

new friends

extensive time for meditation and contemplation

historical buildings

the marvel of the unexpected

What I won't miss:

Traffic

pedestrians not having the right of way

honking horns

loud music

screaming/crying children

blaring television

routine power outages

running out of water (but that has improved)

open sewer canals

urine saturated walls

undrinkable water

mentally assaulted multiple times a day

spitting, ball scratching, farting, burping, staring men

(women could have part of this list too)

cheated

harassed

aggressive begging

periodic violent sickness

seeing severely infested or injured animals

feces et al awareness while walking

high dust/pollution levels

open garbage piles (everywhere)

litter (everywhere)

washing myself and clothes out of a bucket

acute food awareness

Would love to take this temple home with me...

The temple was closed, but when the two women found out how much I loved the temple and was so internally stirred, they graciously opened it. I want to go back and just sit for a few hours. I was moved to tears again. I haven't been so deeply effected by any other temple. It really feels like I am sitting at Gurudev's feet.

Someone showed me how to sit in lotus position. Everything but my ankles are ok with it, so I am going to start at 2-5 minutes on each side and build up. I was practicing on my Gurudev rug this morning, (it will go to California with me), and feeling the presence of the Divine Geneaology. Of course, it has alway been present, but my lint screen is getting cleared enough to recognize it. Now I have two families: the Divine Family and the physical family. All one big family soup!

The Gift

The name Saraswati came from "saras" (meaning "flow") and "wati" (meaning "she who has ..."), i.e. "she who has flow" or can mean sara meaning "essence" and swa meaning "self". So, Saraswati is symbol of knowledge; its flow (or growth) is like a river and knowledge is supremely alluring, like a beautiful woman. She is depicted as beautiful fair Goddess with Four arms, wearing spotless white saree and seated on white lotus. She is also known as "Sharada", "Vani" and "Vagdevi" (both meaning "speech").

"Bring It On" The intensity of the lesson plan is not letting up, but the massive difference is there is no disturbance internally even if I am discussing or learning from the disturbance. Into the fire over and over again. The fundamental teachings are holding up and Gurudev has been adding his personal thoughts from his own observations/experiences. It is AMAZING! No stone will be left unturned. What is more incredible for me is that it keeps coming back to the basics of sensing and keeping the lint screen as clean as possible. The animals have really prepared me for all of this--pranam to the animal kingdom.

The two different blogs have different blogging formats too, so I am always learning from both of them. 11 Selfseeds, but I made 3 additional fun ones too. Don't hold back on the input. Fun? Annoying? Inspiring? Bizarre?

Every day presents new challenges, so I just keep working with the three principles. They appear to apply to the path, the teacher, and the student. Getting lots of opportunities to put them to the test.

My business partner in Florida for the horse sales just contacted me and asked me if I was ready to get going on our PhoenixEQ business. Her life has fallen back into place and she is ready to go again. Synchronicity!!
